HOW SUNNY GOT STARTED
I started modelling when I turned 18. I was sitting in my English class one day and my friend told me about a guy that takes pictures and I would get paid a lot of money to do it. So I set out on an adventure to go find out what it was all about. When I got there, to my surprise it was an agent who was willing to help me out. What I didn't know was that it was nude modelling. He slowly worked his way into telling me what the business was and how it worked. Penthouse Magazine was the first magazine I shot for and it certainly was not the last.
You may have seen me in such magazine's as Penthouse, Hustler, Mystique, Low-Rider and various others. I've had cameo's in movie's such as The Girl Next Door, I've been in various commercials and music video's such as Ja Rule's "Living' It Up". I was Penthouse Pet of the Year 2003 and I just signed a contract with Vivid. My first movie came out last fall titled "Sunny" and I was recently on the cover of Penthouse again this time with Ron Artist and a few of my hot friends! My next movie comes out this May titled "Virtual Vivid Girl Sunny Leone" and my 3rd movie I just finished shooting which will come out later this year!!
I recently got back from Miami, I was interviewing everyone from Snoop Dog to Fergielicious from the Black Eyed Peas on the white carpet at the 2005 MTV Awards for MTV India.
Sunny Leone born May 13, 1981 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is an Indian Canadian model and pornographic actress. She is best known for winning Penthouse magazine's Pet of the Year title for 2003. She is also noted for being one of the few pornographic actresses with an Indian background.
Career
Leone's father was born in Tibet and raised in New Delhi, while her
mother is from a small town in the mountains called Nahan, which is
why she asserts she has a fair complexion. Her family moved to
California, USA in 1996. After graduating high school in 1999, she
began modelling and eventually transitioned into nude modeling. Leone
began appearing in many magazines and websites in the nude, and
eventually posed in a layout for Penthouse magazine in 2001 (Pet of
the Month March), as well as being featured in the Holiday 2001
edition of Hustler magazine as a Hustler Honey. Her popularity and
beauty allowed her to win the 2003 Penthouse Pet of the Year award.
She mostly does softcore modeling and videos, both solo and lesbian.
She has signed an exclusive contract with Vivid Entertainment, where
she has now moved into hardcore videos, though only lesbian. In 2004,
she was part of "No more Bush Girls" , where along with several other
popular adult actresses, they shaved off their pubic hair in protest
of the Bush presidency. Her 2006 release, Virtual Vivid Girl Sunny
Leone received five out of five stars in a review from Adult DVD
Empire. She also had the honour of being the first Vivid star to have
such an interactive feature ever.
Her follow up movie "Sunny and Cher" was released in October 2006, and
her most recent release was "The Female Gardener" which was released
in January 2007. She stars in the remake of "Debbie does
Dallas...Again", the first Vivid movie to be released on Blu-Ray Disc
and HD DVD, starring as Christie, released in April 2007. Her follow
up movie is titled "Brazil". No details have yet been mentioned.
On May 9, 2007, Sunny Leone announced that she has signed a deal to
appear in up to six more movies for Vivid Entertainment. As part of
the contract, she will be performing with men for the first time in
her adult career. Her first movie under the new contract will be
titled "Sunny Loves Matt", and will co-star Matt Erickson.
Personal life
In an interview for pmpnetwork.com she has admitted that had she never
left Canada, she would have been a different person and not gone into
the adult industry. Her parents (who are both of Indian descent) are
aware of her career and support her, although they want her to
discontinue it. She has one brother. She is finishing college and
intends to become a pediatric nurse. She currently lives with her
boyfriend in Sacramento, California. She writes about her life on her
